About me

My name is Sigge, and I am originally from Iceland and raised in Sweden. I currently work as a Quality Assistance Engineer at Atlassian in Sydney, Australia.

I am a dedicated tester with very strong feelings for the agile values and principles, always having the user in mind when carefully testing a product without wasting resources on unnecessary things. I am very communicative in my work, and always want to involve as many people as possible for the most qualitative results in the project. In my communication I am always keen on drawing out the knowledge and wishes from any team member or customer for visualizing towards the project goal. Essentially, it is not the tester alone but the whole team that is responsible for quality, thus everyone being part of the activities to achieve that is something I believe in.

I am eager to learn everything that comes in my way, and one big source of knowledge is the testing community of which I hope to take part of. I learn alot and very easily from others’ experiences, so I really want to share mine as well. Please question me in comments or on a blog of your own.

    Hello Sigge,

It is nice to know that out there we have people who value the core side of Testing. I had been asked questions from my various friends about Context Driven Testing and it’s examples, tools ( traceability matrix examples) to trace the dynamic requirements. I am eager to find answers to these questions.

I will greatly appreciate if you could please find some time out of your schedule to share some examples of certain test procedures/tools/example of how do we do traceability to requirements in a context-driven world.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi Sigurdur ,

How are you? I came across your blog and I was wondering if you would be interested in guest blogging on TESTHuddle.com?

In case you are unaware, TEST Huddle is a software testing community that was launched by EuroSTAR Conferences back in early 2014 and there has been steady growth of members ever since. Today we are proud to say that we have over 2500 members and counting.

Adding a blog post to TEST Huddle is easy as we have an upload resource option available on the site. You can upload here: http://testhuddle.com/resources/upload-resource/

The sooner you upload your blog, the sooner we could add it to the blog schedule.

I look forward to hearing from you,

    Kind regards,
